Here's the scoop on Comfort Suites Huntington Beach. We've been there and are not making this up.  First, it's located on busy Beach Boulevard but the majority of rooms don't face the street.  If you come for a budget night sleep, Comfort Suites Huntington Beach offers a freeway close location to San Diego 405 Freeway. You can walk to the freeway from the hotel. Another option a quarter-mile away also near the freeway is Hotel Huntington Beach. It doesn't have the chain name to back it up, so uses the marketing services of a hotel management firm, Broughton Group.

At Comfort Suites, dining is right next door with several fast food places, Burger King, which does a "whopper" business with the walk-in and drive-thru, and a Jack in the Box. (There are five Jack boxes in HB). So if you like the smell of fast food, it does tend to waft through the air.  Nevertheless, when you close your hotel door, you are pretty insulated from outside cares.

The floors can be accessed by a small exterior stairs, or by the elevator everyone takes. As you walk to your room, the feeling is very much hotel. It's clean, slightly dark, but nothing special that makes you say "Wow." It's a Comfort Suites, for goodness sakes! The hotel has always been well managed in our years of using their services.  They run a clean ship, you might say. If anything needs attention, they get to it right away.
