Did you know that California has more AAA four diamond restaurants and hotels
than any other state in the US?
Resort dining offers some of the most exquisite meals from chefs
that are known around the U.S. and globe for their styles of presentation.
When visiting resorts in California, you shouldn't miss the dining
opportunities if you can afford them. Unfortunately, there meals can often cost
as much as the hotel room or suite, making this costly proposition more
difficult on a budget.
Special chefs nights do provide opportunities to sample the menu
items and wine pairings for much less, and if you are stretched, we find that
just sampling the soups and appetizers is a great way to find out what you are
missing (or not).
How much does resort dining cost? Typically you can plan to spend a
minimum $25 per person...and that's usually starters. If you have the money and
can afford to live it up, be sure to make resort dining one of your regular meal
stops, whether staying at a hotel or not. Do be sure to look for hotels that are
known for their quality cuisine and awards. |
